Papo the Toad was walking and he came upon a river.
“I cannot swim across this river without ruining my hat!”
Dile the Crocodile was swimming close by.
“Jump on my back. We can cross the river together!” — said Dile the Crocodile
Papo the Toad and Dile the Crocodile crossed the river together.
“Thank you, Dile the Crocodile!” — said Papo the Toad — “You are a good friend.”
Papo the Toad was walking and saw a delicious apple high in a tree.
“If I was taller I could reach this apple and eat it.”
Rafa the Giraffe was grazing nearby.
“I cannot make you tall,” — said Rafa the Giraffe — “but I can get the apple for you.”
“Thank you, Rafa the Giraffe.” — said Papo the Toad — “You are a good friend.”
Papo the Toad kept walking until a strong wind blew his hat.
“Oh, no! My hat!” — yelled Papo the Toad as John the Pigeon was flying by.
John the Pigeon snatched the hat and gave it to Papo the Toad
“Thank you, John the Pigeon.” — said Papo the Toad — “You are a good friend.”
Papo the Toad walked until it was dark and scary.
“Why are you trembling?” — said Pepa the Stegosaurus.
“It’s dark and scary.”
“I am big and strong. I will protect you.”
and Papo the Toad hid behind Pepa the Stegosaurus all night.
“Thank you, Pepa the Stegosaurus” — said Papo the Toad next morning — “You are a good friend.”
And so the adventures of Papo the Toad came to an end…
And he discovered that he has many friends.
